In other news the building site at work had scary fumes from varnish yesterday, luckily none of the candidates I was interviewing expired.

The building site at home is making progress. Things may be back to normal week after next. Just as soon as we are sure what is normal anway.

Getting promoted has made work a lot more complicated but I'm quite enjoying it. And at the rate my team is growing, soon I will be able to take over the world with minions. I feel too tired for world domination though. I seem to be having regular nightly bouts of insomnia about this time.

Right, off to try and get some more sleep.

Another book I have enjoyed recently is The Gargoyle. ( no spoilers here )

I fanyone is up for the Christmas Double bill at the Prince Charles on Christmas Eve, (The Muppets Christmas Carol followed by It's A Wonderful Life), Chris (SansLJ) and I will be in the Angel And Crown on St Martins Lane (opposite the theatre showing Avenue Q) from about 2:00 PM for at least a glass or two of Aspalls cider.

The double bill starts at 3:40 and goes on until about 7:30.

We feel the need to get a Muppet Fix next week and It's a Wonderful Life is on afterwards with a short interlude in between.
